5月31日，中國科協(xié)常務(wù)副主席、黨組書記陳希，在陜西省副省長(zhǎng)朱靜芝，陜西省科協(xié)主席、西安交大校長(zhǎng)鄭南寧院士等陪同下到炬光科技有限公司調(diào)研工作。

陳希書記一行在炬光科技董事長(zhǎng)兼總經(jīng)理劉興勝、常務(wù)副總經(jīng)理許國棟的陪同下，先后參觀了公司封裝、光學(xué)、測(cè)試和老化等車間現(xiàn)場(chǎng)，在激光應(yīng)用實(shí)驗(yàn)室，陳書記饒有興趣地觀看了激光在夜視照明、投影顯示以及激光加工方面的應(yīng)用演示。

調(diào)研期間，劉興勝向陳希書記簡(jiǎn)要介紹了公司發(fā)展概況、市場(chǎng)開拓情況以及發(fā)展規(guī)劃，并對(duì)中國科協(xié)、陜西省、西安市科協(xié)一直以來給予的關(guān)心和支持表示感謝。陳希書記對(duì)炬光科技取得的成績(jī)，尤其在技術(shù)創(chuàng)新與產(chǎn)業(yè)化結(jié)合方面所取得成績(jī)給予了充分肯定，并高度評(píng)價(jià)了公司“國際化、品牌化”的戰(zhàn)略定位，同時(shí)就公司如何更好地推進(jìn)科技成果轉(zhuǎn)化以及產(chǎn)業(yè)化發(fā)展提出了寶貴建議。陳希書記指出：科技創(chuàng)新要以企業(yè)為主體、以市場(chǎng)為導(dǎo)向，實(shí)現(xiàn)產(chǎn)學(xué)研結(jié)合，使更多的科研成果能轉(zhuǎn)化為產(chǎn)品。

劉興勝博士曾榮獲2011年“中國科協(xié)求是杰出青年成果轉(zhuǎn)化獎(jiǎng)”。
